My book - "Final Thoughts: Eternal Beauty in Stone" - is now available at Amazon or Barnes & Noble online.

"Show me your cemeteries, and I'll tell you what kind of people you have." Benjamin Franklin

0090 - "Lost in War"
an excerpt from "Final Thoughts"

"God, hold your loving arms about him,
keep him in your tender care,
please make up all he had to suffer,
and everything that was unfair.

He little thought when leaving us,
he would return no more,
that he, in death, would soon so sleep,
and leave us here to mourn.

We do not know what pains he bore,
we did not see him die,
we only know he passed away,
and could not say Good-Bye."
